Well I got back from the launch party an hour ago and I really have to say it was pretty cool. The keynote was kind of boring at times (the demo was actually the high point, coupled with the near crash of the uno game and everyone snickering). The real awesome part came after the keynote when we were instructed to pick up our gift bags. What was inside was beyond anything I could have ever expected. Here’s a list of the bag’s contents:
- Windows Vista Ultimate Edition Retail Package
- Office 2007 Home and Student Retail Package
- Windows Live Onecare Retail Package
- XBox 360 Controller for Windows
- Lego Star Wars II
- Microsoft Flight Simulator X (In the press kit which had various games based on which box you got)
- Windows Vista Start Button Mouse Pad
- Windows Vista Storybook
- Windows Vista Media DVD
- Windows Easy Transfer Cable
- Windows Live USB Key
- Microsoft Office Live Trial Card
- Sandisk Cruzer Micro 2 GB Pen Drive
- T-Mobile Day Pass (1 day free WiFi)
- Windows Marketplace info card
- Windows Vista Magazine
- All in a very nice Windows Vista/Office 2007 Bag
